Here's one of the latest uses we discovered from on of our customers! They are using it to stabilize the tree trunk, aka staking the tree. There are many ways people do this, but the critical part is the material that wraps around the trunk itself.
You want something strong that will not damage or mar the bark on the trunk, since it is rubbing on it constantly. Our customer let us know that, "I like this webbing because it is a natural fiber and is gentle on the bark." It is also very strong.
So far they have not noticed any ill effects from using it like this. Just tie the end to a post of some kind to keep the tree stabilized in the wind.
Most of the time people use rope or twine for this type of thing, but using the hemp webbing is a way to protect any wear and tear on the tree trunk from bending and swaying in the wind!
Let us know what YOU or Your business is using hemp for - so we can share it with the world!
